The fertility journey can bring lots of emotions and distress to patients, of which the many fertility procedures undertaken may contribute. Clinical evidence shows that women who receive counselling before undergoing an HSG have decreased level of anxiety and therefore experience less pain during the procedure. Reassure your patients & help them prepare for an HSG by providing them with educational materials.
